Dr. Kathryn Lorenz of Loveland was elected Chairperson of the Great Oaks Board of Directors at the Board’s January meeting.  Cindy Emmert of Cincinnati was elected Vice Chair.

Dr. Lorenz represents the Loveland City School Board.  She has been a member of the Great Oaks Board of Directors since 1998.  Mrs. Emmert represents Winton Woods City Schools, and has served on the Great Oaks Board of Directors since 2000.

The Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Education serves 35 school districts in 12 counties.  Great Oaks board members are elected to serve on the boards of education of the affiliated school districts. Each board of education appoints one of its members to serve a one-year term on the Great Oaks Board of Directors. The members of the Hamilton County Educational Service Center represent Finneytown, Forest Hills, Oak Hills, Southwest and Three Rivers. A member of the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center represents Blanchester and Clinton-Massie.
